Chairperson – Professor Pang-Chui Shaw

Professor Pang-Chui Shaw is the Director of the Li Dak Sum Yip Yio Chin R & D Centre for Chinese Medicine, CUHK. He has been engaging in the research and development of pharmacological properties and quality control of Chinese medicinal material for more than 30 years. He is also a pioneer in applying DNA technology to herb authentication. Professor Shaw‘s work aims at enhancing the quality of Chinese medicinal material and products in Hong Kong, and promoting the scientific basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The blockchain project is the first of its kind in the herbal industry.
